My husband and I have two beautiful daughters who attend college in Washington and California.  We also have a Golden Retriever, Max, who loves to swim and dig.  My hobbies include cooking, boating, swimming, snow skiing, and traveling.

I am excited to have the privilege to work with such wonderful students each day!   I appreciate all of their consistent efforts to do their very best.  They truly make each and every day rewarding, and I am so happy to be a part of our Swansboro Elementary School Family!

We have the opportunity to use wonderful intervention based curriculums for both literacy and numeracy skills.  Our Corrective Reading Program is a program that enables learners to develop and strengthen their literacy skills and build a strong foundation for a lifetime of reading.  They also enjoy using our Number Worlds math program which provides a hands-on approach to developing  numeracy, computation and problem solving skills.  Instruction in both areas is individualized according to each student's needs.

Here are some great websites that you may be interested in to help your child with reading and math. Just click on one of these websites and the learning can begin! RazKids, Spellingcity, Starfall, Mathisfun, Storyline, Edhelper, Mathfactcafe, Funbrain, Magickeys, and Scootpad.
